Hi, can you start by telling us about yourself?

I'm Isabella, Swedish/Italian, curious life lover who loves to take on new challenges. I love to explore new cultures and countries, and I have been living in fashion capitals such as Florence and Milan as well as Barcelona for 5 years. I recently moved back to Sweden and I'm now based in Stockholm where I work as a buyer.

How long have you been blogging?

I have been blogging since October 2013, so more or less 2 years.

What's the story behind your blog? What inspired you to get on a laptop and start blogging?

I've always had a huge interest in fashion. Before starting the blog, I used to make scrapbooks with pictures from fashion magazines. After being asked various times why I didn't start I blog I took it to action, and I started StyleSpectra, which is my creative space.

How would you define fashion?

I would define fashion as a way to express yourself without having to say a world.

How would you describe your personal style?

I would describe my style as rock-chic where I like to mix feminine with more edgy and masculine garments. 

Who are your biggest style inspirations?

I would say that I really love Leandra Medine from the Man Repeller. She is not afraid to experiment with prints and colors and I think that she has a very fun take on fashion. Then I also like the Danish fashion stylist and blogger Pernille Teisbaek'sclean style.

What's the one fashion item you can't live without, and why?

I can't live without denim garments! It works with everything and can easily be worn from day to night and be mixed and matched in all eternity.

When you can't think of anything to wear, what's your go-to outfit?

I usually go for black. 

What's the most important fashion rule to live by?

There are no rules!

What's your favorite piece to wear this season?

My favorite piece to wear this season is the flared trousers/denims as well as reptile prints.

What advice can you give to those who just started fashion blogging?

I think it's important to be true to yourself and make the blog about your interest and style and not be afraid to be yourself!
