How's it going, ladies? It's 15 days into January. How are you keeping up with your New Year's resolutions?
If you're leaning towards the latter, perhaps we can help you; rather, we can help each other as we're sure a lot of us starting to wane on following through. Check out these tips for a more fulfilling 2015:
- Make sure your goals are attainable.
For obvious reasons, it makes more sense to make a goal that's achievable. Take a look at your goals and mark those that aren't. Then, adjust them so they're easier to reach. Otherwise, they'll just pile up to your unattained resolutions and will just make you sad.
It also helps when you put a timeline to them. This way, you'll be motivated to push hard when you have a deadline to hit.
- Let people know.
One sure way to push yourself further is to let people know what you're planning to achieve this year. There are lots of benefits to doing this, and one of them is having people behind your back reminding you that you need to quit smoking or you need to give yourself a makeover.
If you need a hard push in order to stick to your goals, try using apps and websites. Some of them offer community-based tracking so other people can motivate you further.
- Reward yourself.
It's always a great feeling to having accomplished something so don't feel guilty when you want to celebrate. After all the hard work you've done to achieve something, you deserve a reward. So go ahead and splurge on a sheer crochet dress if you've worked hard to lose weight, or go on a mini vacation after passing a license exam.
Having something to look forward to at the end of the tunnel is a huge motivating factor to help you follow through your resolutions.
And we hope that helps. What other tips you have to help us follow through your goals? We'd love to hear about your tips so please share them.
