Be Beautiful as a Butterfly: Be Inspired by Petronela of My Butterfly

Today, we've got something special cooked up for you. We know that there are days when you're full of fire and inspiration that if you could prolong the day, you'd probably wear a dozen of stylish outfits. There are also days when you just feel enervated and your well of style creativity has gone dry.

So, in addition to our regular style tips and how-to's, we thought we'd get a little more in depth when it comes to fashion and talk to stylish bloggers from around the world to share to us tidbits on how to stay fashionable. After all, what better way to get the best tips than to seek them out from style gurus themselves.

First up is Petronela from Southeastern Europe. Read on to get to know more about her, her blog, style and other blogging tips to those of you want to start fashion blogging.

First off, can you start by telling us about yourself?

I'm a fashion blogger from Romania. On my blog, you'll find outfit posts, review post, wish lists, tutorials and other interesting topics.

How long have you been blogging?

I started blogging 7 years ago and since then my blog has grown a lot. I've met interesting people and I've participated at wonderful local events.

What's the story behind your blog? What inspired you to get on a laptop and start blogging?

In the beginning, it was designed as a personal blog, a place where I could express my feelings, and where I could share my experiences. But since beauty and fashion are a large part of my life, I started to post reviews and outfit posts. And in time, it turned into a blog about beauty and fashion.

How would you define fashion?

For me, fashion is to wear what looks good on me. Not to follow some trends but to adapt those trends and find what is right for me.

How would you describe your personal style?

I tend to have a rather classy and feminine style.

 Who are your biggest style inspirations?

I try to have my own style though I admire many international and local blogger as well. For instance, I like VivaLuxury and Fashion Doctor style.

What's the one fashion item you can't live without, and why?

I can't live without skirts. Because my style is feminine, skirts are mandatory.

When you can't think of anything to wear, what's your go-to outfit?

A few years ago, I would have said jeans and t-shirts. Now, my answer is a little black dress.

What's the most important fashion rule to live by?

Rules are made to be broken - especially when it comes to fashion. I don't believe in rules. I always follow my instincts.

What's your favorite piece to wear this season?

For this season, I love to wear vests -- any kind of vests, that is -- because they give you freedom to move while still be able to keep you warm.

What advice can you give to those who just started fashion blogging?

First of all, I advise them to have patience and to be consistent. Once you create something with passion and from the heart, the reward will come.
