Lookbook Store's Guide to Shopping Autumn Basics

Hello, pretties! Just a few days ago, we posted an article about faux leather pieces that are great for the season.  But we thought we'd supplement that helpful article with another one as we know that dressing stylishly in layers can be a challenge. Talk about curve-less ensembles, anyone?

Don't get us wrong, though. We love layering clothes. Sometimes, however, too much layers can hide our curves. We don't like that, and we're pretty sure you do to. So to solve that, we thought we'd share to you shopping tips on what to buy for the fall season. This way, even if you're all layered up, you can still look chic. So let's get started, shall we?

PU Leather Leggings (sold-out) | Zip-Front Skinny Pants (sold-out) | Asymmetric Hem Maxi Skirt (sold-out) | Wrecked Cutoff Shorts (sold-out) | Tiered Mini Skirt (sold-out)

It's quite normal to drag yourselves out of bed on a chilly morning, so make your dressing routine simple and easy by having basic bottoms on the ready. Leggings, skirts, shorts, jeans and pants can be paired with almost anything, so having these in your collection can speed up your early morning routine.

Draped-Side top (sold-out) | Long-tail-cat-print knit top (sold-out) | Cutout shoulder crochet top (sold-out) | Wing-patterned knit sweater (sold-out) | Lace-shoulder blouse (sold-out)

Button-down shirts, blouses shirts are perfect for fall because they can be styled in a variety of ways. You can roll up the sleeves or wear a tank top underneath. Navy blue and black are popular colors but don't limit your choice of colors to these alone. Mix your top collection with fun colors to help brighten your mood whenever you need to.

Sleeves tab draped label blazer (sold-out) | Shrug-shoulder zip-exposed jacket | Genuine sheepskin blazer | Asymmetric fit-and-flare blazer

It's no use dressing to nines if you're going to wear a jacket over your outfit. So why not take your outwear up a notch by having at least one stylish coat or jacket? This way, you don't have to look frumpy if you're all layered up.

Gold metal panel belt (sold-out) | Hollowed out rose bracelet (sold-out) | Champagne braided necklace (sold-out) | Pyramid faux leather bracelet (sold-out) | Mint faux leather bag (sold-out) | Gold lock envelope clutch (sold-out)

One of the easiest ways to transform an outfit from frumpy to stylish is accessorizing. So don't skimp on accessories if you can. Who knows? A cool faux leather bracelet, a colorful bag or a belt might be just what you need to take your style to the next level.

Make the fall better than the last, sartorially speaking, by considering these basic staples. They may seem ordinary but they're great pieces for layering and accessorizing. The next thing you know, you'll be able to mix and match pieces stylishly and effortlessly.
